Dear Friends,

November is already here and before I know it the kids will be around the Christmas tree opening presents. Where does the time go? It is always hard for me to recognize how fast time is passing me by. Every day is a day gone and before I know it, a year has slipped by. I am catching up with some friends from college on Facebook and what is really wild is knowing that I haven't spoken with many of them in over 20 years; 20 years, that is a long time especially if your married which I am, but just thinking about being married 20 years seems like a long time and I know somewhere in that span your supposed to get a party thrown for you. Well I have a long way to go, only 10 years on the 27th.

Speaking of November, I am headed to India again with 2 wonderful women who are going to help me explore micro finance. This is a hot topic and has been for several years now and I have finally decided to get in the game. If you are interested in learning more, email me and I can fill you in. In a nutshell we are going to examine a program in place and then replicate that program in an area close by. We already have over 2,000 women waiting to get signed up; we just need to put the mechanisms in place to ensure its success then come up with the $50,000 to fund it. If you are interested in any part of this let me know.

In addition to studying micro finance, 9 water projects are being drilled and I will personally see 8 of them and dedicate them at some point during my short stay in the country. My next trip is in February 2009 and so if any of you are interested in joining me, contact me immediately as I need a down payment and an application completed. After February I hope to return in July again followed by a trip in October.

As I close, I hope to have a newsletter done within the next couple of weeks followed by a new and improved web site or at least some design changes. I need to keep up to date electronically and make the site as user friendly as possible, so keep checking back to see if anything has changed and if not, bug me about it!
